Now and Now II ( 2018 ) sound installation

Now and Now II is a sound installation from my ongoing project “Broken ensemble” in which broken instruments are being resonated by a transducer to project the sounds. An algorithm running on a computer in real time is responsible to produce the music in certain orders and send it to the instruments. The sonic result is shaped by the acoustical characteristics of the instruments as well as the space surrounding the work.
