Program note:

The space in Sefrhasht consists of four layers; static polyphonic sources, very slow movements, quick gestures and extremely fast movements which function as sound oscillator. All these layers coexist and overlap and sometimes appear isolated.

Sefrhasht is composed for The Game of Life foundation Wave Field Synthesis system which comprises of 192 specially designed loudspeakers . Wave Field Synthesis (WFS) is a sound production technology designed specifically for spatial audio rendering. Virtual acoustic environments are simulated and synthesised using large numbers of loudspeakers which provides listeners with an immersive sonic experience.
