font-style: normal;\"><strong>Program note:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-style: normal;\">This piece is part of a research project titled \u201ccomposing music based on carpet designs\u201d that I carried out during my master\u2019s study at the Institute of Sonology. In this piece, I tried to apply some prominent features of carpet designs in the process of composing. For instance, the work is inspired by the multilayered networks of design in a carpet structure which creates a unified complex texture.
